All,
Let me first thank everyone who participated in our club activities, for what was another great year of enjoying the shooting sports! Those of you new to our hobby, I hope you make it a lifelong passion, and introduce others to our world. Above all else, always preach safe and responsible shooting practices.
Thank you to my fellow officers, for your support and advice throughout the year. Particularly, I would like to thank Jack for his wisdom and tireless efforts to keep the club going strong. The slate of officers for the coming year is as follows:
1) President- Scotty Carver
2) Vice President- Ethan Reed
3) Range Officer- Matt Wilson
4) Secretary- TBA
5) Treasurer- Tyler Stewart
6) Webmaster- Will Workman
7) President Emeritus- Jack Fox
8) Faculty Advisor- Art Buikema
If you are interested in serving as club secretary, please let us know
I would also like to thank Christopher Giles for serving as faculty advisor the last few years; without him, the club would not currently exist. On that note, we are pleased to have Art Buikema take his place, and guide the club in the coming years.
Last but not least, thank you to the folks at Shawnee Shooting Sports Club. They have generously allowed us to bring guests to their private range, and will continue to maintain close ties with our club.
Good luck on finals, have a great summer, and GO HOKIES!!!
Fondest wishes,
Anderson S. Wise, Class of 2010
Outgoing President, Pistol and Rifle Club
P.S. Thank you to everyone who made our cookout a huge success!
Thank you, Arthur Buikema, for agreeing to be the PRCVT’s next Faculty Advisor! We look forward to his contributions to our club.
